The project seeks to implement training programs for welding qualification improvement and training for companies that serve the welding sector. According to the survey and analysis of the market needs made by ProBaltic Consulting it is planned to train 726 welding technicians and electrical engineering staff members during the project. The aim of the project is to strengthen the skills of welding strain straightening, quality control of joints, material selection and optimization of processes, marking of drawings and stitches, installation of electrical equipment, production efficiency improvement works.
On 18th of May, 2017 Lithuanian Welder Association, with the assistance of ProBaltic Consulting, has successfully started a project on development of professional competencies of welder sector staff costing 194.730,24 Euro under the 09.4.3-ESFA-K-814 measure “Competences LT”. The project is implemented with 41 partners.

During the implementation of the project, theoretical and practical learning methods will be combined.
ProBaltic Consulting is cooperating closely with companies in the welding sector, identifying learning needs, helping to set up target groups of learning, preparing technical training tasks for service providers, consulting the Lithuanian Welders Association on procurement and project management issues, coordinating the learning process, monitoring indicators of achievements and effective use of EU funds.
