By order of Akmenė District Municipality, UAB ProBaltic Consulting in 2017 June-July conducted a survey of the opinion of the residents of Akmenė district regarding the quality of services provided by the municipality. During the study, 405 permanent adult residents (18 years and older) of Akmenė district municipality were interviewed. The study was conducted by face-to-face interviews according to a questionnaire agreed with the client. The survey was conducted on the basis of the methodology for calculating the Public Service Consumer Satisfaction Index approved by the Minister of the Interior of the Republic of Lithuania in 2009. June 30 by order no. 1V-339 “On Approval of the Methodology for Calculating the Public Service Consumer Satisfaction Index”.

Based on the conclusions of the prepared study, Akmenė District Municipality has identified the main problems in which it is necessary to initiate changes in order to improve the quality of services provided to the population. This study was used to prepare an application under 2014-2020. Measure “Improvement of the quality of services and personal services in municipalities” of the EU Funds Investment Operational Program, Priority 10 “Meeting Public Needs and Smart Public Administration” No. 10.1.3-ESFAR-920.
