Pursuant to the service agreement with the Lithuanian Statistics Department, ProBaltic Consulting provided project management services and advice on public procurement. Under the agreement, experts of ProBaltic Consulting assisted the Lithuanian Statistics Department in drafting information system and hardware procurement documentation for international tenders, assessed the submitted bids, provided ongoing advice on implementation of approved service and equipment supply contracts.
The projects were aimed to enable Lithuanian residents to submit statistical data electronically, through the transfer of population statistical data reception and processing service into electronic space. In view of this, the project will provide for the Electronic Population Statistical Data System consisting of statistical study initiation, execution, findings processing, statistical study management and control processes. Population will, thus, have more favourable conditions for participation in surveys and studies conducted by the department will become more productive.
