Challenge

Defence-tech start-ups face a long, capital-intensive R&D path before revenue. LEVEL ELEVEN STUDIO had simulation expertise and a clear product vision but needed non-dilutive capital to accelerate development — without giving up equity at the earliest, most expensive stage.

Solution

ProBaltic Consulting analysed Lithuania’s digital-innovation instruments, aligned the development plan to two calls and fully prepared both applications. Both projects were funded on first submission.

What was built

The drone-simulator project develops an extended- and virtual-reality drone simulator for advanced critical-infrastructure protection training — managing natural disasters, vandalism and terrorism threats, containing mass disorder, and firefighting — and for drone-control and urban-sector skills. Its distinctive feature is that AI recognition models (object detection and classification) are integrated into the virtual-reality environment using synthesised real imagery, increasing the realism of the environment and the operator’s perception. During the project the product advanced from a working prototype (TRL 6) to a fully functional, demonstrable solution (TRL 9).

Results

  • €164,047 in non-dilutive EU funding secured for two projects;
  • the “StratOS” extended-reality tactical simulator platform developed;
  • the AI-driven VR/AR drone training simulator taken to a demonstrable product and positioned for the growing European defence market;
  • projects delivered with no loss of equity.
