Challenge
An energy-intensive continuous-production plant needed to cut fossil fuel use and technological emissions without stopping production — investments had to be phased, with the right funding instrument found for each phase.
Funded projects
- Thermal-oil (biofuel) boiler house, 12.6 MW — €1,737,720 (“Renewable energy resources for power generation”, VP3-3.4-ŪM-02-K-03-006, 2015);
- Industrial wastewater treatment system modernisation — €199,838 (LAAIF water protection programme);
- Reducing conventional energy consumption intensity (solar PV) — €147,198 (“Renewable energy sources for industry LT+”, 04.2.1-LVPA-K-836-03-0001);
- Electricity storage installations — €209,412 (“Investment support for individual electricity storage facilities”, 03-009-J-0001-J06).
Solution
ProBaltic Consulting became a long-term funding partner: for each investment phase we selected the instrument, prepared the application and administered the project — across energy efficiency, renewable energy and environmental protection.
Results
