Challenge
In 2009 microsystems technology was an early-stage field in Lithuania: there was neither a critical mass of companies nor a clear service infrastructure. The application had to justify market demand in a field with almost no statistics.
Project
Mikrosistemų technikos verslo aplinkos vystymas (MST-aplinka)
Solution
ProBaltic Consulting prepared the application under the “Inogeb LT-1” requirements — activity logic, indicators and budget — substantiating the need to develop the MST business environment.
Results
- €514,032 for the MST business environment project;
- A foundation laid for further mechatronics and microsystems infrastructure in Panevėžys;
- In later years ProBaltic Consulting also prepared the centre’s MEMS fab (clean room) feasibility study.
